Glory to God in highest heaven,
Who unto man His Son hath given;
While angels sing with tender mirth,
A glad new year to all the earth.
We meet today to thank thee for the era done, and thee for the opening one. Its almost been a year already. Time pass just like a scenery outside a window of a moving car. It feels like still in the past and imagining about of being in the future . And since it is a new year, everything will going to change. We ourselves of course will get older and older. And the path ahead of us will decompose to a lot of branches. The object of a new year is not that we should have a new year. It is that we should have a new soul. The old year has gone. Let the dead past bury its own dead. The new New Year has taken possession of the clock time. All hail duties and possibilities of the coming twelve months!. We should looking forward for a new year for a new start on old habits. Since the last year’s words belong to last year’s language and next year’s word await another voice. And to make an end is to make a beginning. We will open the book . Its pages are blank. We are going to put on words on them ourselves. The book is called opportunity and the first chapter is New Year’s Day(1st January 2010). Year’s end is neither an end nor a beginning but a going on for the past undone responsibilities.
